Thalaivii is a Bollywood biopic based on the life of Tamil Nadu former chief minister Jayalalitha. The movie will be directed by Vijay A L and has its screenplay written by Vijayendra Prasad. Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut plays Jayalalitha and Arvind Swami plays the role of M. G. Ramachandran in the movie. Thalaivii depicts the varied aspects of her life, tracing her journey as an actress at a young age to becoming the Face of Tamil Cinema as well as the rise of the revolutionary leader that changed the course of Tamil Nadu Politics. The trailer of the film had received a tremendous response from the audiences.
