What
do
you
expect
when
Bollywood
meet
Hollywood?
A
cocktail
of
romance,
action,
sentiments
and
much
more,
isn't
it?
Well,
you
will
see
something
unique
if
things
work
out
right.
Two
big
entertainment
companies
have
struck
a
deal
to
jointly
produce
films
in
the
future.
Now,
they
are
trying
to
rope
in
Hollywood
actress
Salma
Hayek
to
act
with
Akshay
Kumar
in
their
first
project.
The
Indian
talent
agency
Carving
Dreams
Entertainment
(CDE)
and
Hollywood
Studios
International,
a
Hollywood
based
entertainment
company,
have
struck
a
$100million
deal
to
initiate
many
Hollywood-Bollywood
joint
ventures
in
future
with
popular
artistes
in
both
the
industries.
CDE
is
the
first
Indian
company
to
sign
such
a
big
deal
with
a
Hollywood
studio.
In
fact,
CDE
has
many
clientϿ'le
including
Hrithik
Roshan,
Ajay
Devgan,
Kajol,
Irrfan
Khan,
Bipasha
Basu
and
Isha
Sharvani.
The
good
news
is
that
their
films
will
be
simultaneously
shot
in
English
and
Hindi.
Mr.
Saxton
of
Hollywood
Studio
International
said,
"For
an
Independent
production
house,
where
low
budgets
average
from
$10-15
million
and
go
up
to
30
million,
this
is
a
significant
investment.
It
has
an
appeal
similar
to
that
of
The
Italian
Job,
which
did
very
well
internationally." HSI
will
also
be
adding
Hollywood
stars,
having
its
writers
re-write
scripts
for
international
audiences.
Adding
more
spice
to
the
curry,
their
first
project
will
have
Bollywood
actors
Akshay
Kumar
and
Irrfan
Khan,
and
Maxican
beauty
Salma
Hayek
is
likely
to
act
in
it.
However,
Salma
is
yet
to
give
the
nod.
Well,
it
would
be
great
to
see
the
hot
Indian
star
romancing
sexy
Hollywood
actress
of
'Desperado'
fame
on
the
big
screen!
