Bomb hoax at Amitabh's residence

It was a sleepless night for Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan and his family on Wednesday. There were a number of police officials, members of bomb disposal squad and representatives of media gathered in and around the Bollywood icon's Juhu residence after an anonymous tip-off. But the squad did not find any explosive.

After an hour's efforts, the Bomb disposal squad called off the search. A senior police official said after the search, "We received a tip-off about the possibility of some subversive act at the Juhu and Jhalsa residence of Amitabh Bachchan. So, we carried out a thorough search at the premises, but no explosives were found and the search was called off."

It is the third time that the actor has received such anonymous threat.
