Deepika Padukone To Be Saina Nehwal In Her Next!

It seems female sports personalities recently have fetched much importance among Bollywood film makers.

After Priyanka Chopra roped in the role of female boxer Mary Kom, now Deepika Padukone is likely to be seen in the shoes of badminton player Saina Nehwal in her next flick.

According to reports, film maker Mahesh Bhatt is planning to make a film on the life of Indian shuttler Saina Nehwal and Deepika is the first choice for the role. It has been learnt that, Saina herself has recommended the name of Deepika for the role as she feels Deepika is the one who is best suited for the character.

And there is a reason for Saina's belief as Deepika happens to be the daughter of former badminton player, Prakash Padukone who holds the title of being the first Indian to win the All England Championship. Moreover, Deepika herself has a good hand in this sports as she was a state-level badminton player once.
