Relief For Salman Khan: High Court Grants Bail Till May 8

Salman Khan who was convicted of crime and pronounced guilty was slashed with five years of jail term by the sessions court, today.

Salman was taken into police custody and was likely to be sent to the Arthur Road Central Jail in south Mumbai.

It was a huge relief when the High Court granted bail for the actor till May 8. Lawyer Harish Salve who represented the actor at the High Court argued saying nobody can be jailed until and unless there is full court order.

Next hearing is on Friday, May 8. Salman Khan and his family received the news through SMS and the actor left from sessions court to his house.

Salman Khan was stoic and Arbaaz Khan was seen smiling. This is a two day breather for the actor who was teary-eyed when he heard the verdict from Judge D.W. Deshpande.
