Really! Not Hrithik Roshan But Sidharth Malhotra Will Romance Alia Bhatt In Aashiqui 3

After the success of Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor's Aashiqui 2, stories of Aashiqui 3 started doing the rounds.

Earlier, it was reported that Hrithik Roshan would play the lead role in the movie and Sonam Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut are being considered for the female lead. Later, it was said that Hrithik will romance Alia Bhatt In Aashiqui 3. But now, Mahesh Bhatt has confirmed that Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt have been approached for the film.

Talking about Aashiqui 3, Mahesh Bhatt told Mumbai Mirror, "Aashqui is one of Vishesh Films and T-Series' most successful franchises and Mohit Suri will be returning as director. Right now it is work in progress, but I admit that based on the narrative, we have approached Sidharth and Alia to play the lead.''

He further added, ''But since both these actors are close to home, I would not like to proclaim from the rooftops just yet that it's a go-go till they officially sign the contract."
