Akira Movie Review: Live Audience Update
The action-thriller Akira, directed by A.R. Murugadoss and starring Sonakshi Sinha in the lead role has released today (Sept 2). Sonakshi's last release was Tevar which hit the theatres in early 2015. So, her fans were desperately waiting to see her on-screen again. We bring to you the live review of Akira so that you can decide whether the movie deserves your time and money or not!

While it started out brilliantly #Akira ended with a disappointing third act. @sonakshisinha was excellent though . #Akira @anuragkashyap72 was equally brilliant as the main villain.
In Akira, Sonakshi Sinha will be seen packing punches and doing hardcore action sequences. The actor recently said the film had come at the right time in her career as she wanted to push her limits as a performer.

She further added, ''Murugadoss sir is the man who has worked with one of the top action stars of our country. He has never made a film with female protagonist before. He approached me for that and I felt really honoured. It has a lot of shades and it was very challenging for me to portray such a character.''
Apart from Sonakshi Sinha, Akira also stars Konkana Sen Sharma, Anurag Kashyap and Amit Sadh.
