Karisma Kapoor's Divorce Takes Ugly Turn, Blamed For Poisoning Children's Mind

The divorce of Karisma Kapoor and Sunjay Kapur has taken an ugly turn. Now, Sunjay's lawyer has blamed Karisma for poisoning the children's mind against their father by telling them false stories.

Sunjay's lawyer Priya Hingorani told a leading daily that Karisma Kapoor was not allowing the children to meet their father and added that there were times when Samaira said she is not interested in meeting her father at all.

Sunjay Kapur recently filed a petition for divorce with Karisma Kapoor that stated that the actress married the former only for his money. Reacting to which Karisma Kapoor's father Randhir Kapoor told IANS,"The whole world knows about the Kapoors and god has blessed us with enough wealth and talent. We can support ourselves for the rest of our lives. We are talented also.''

''So, we don't have to run after anybody's money, especially Sunjay Kapur's. Sunjay must be trying to impress his girlfriends that he is very wealthy. He might be doing it for his own publicity. I'm a typical Indian father and I love my children very much. I'm more protective about my grandchildren. I'm concerned about their wellbeing. I'm only hoping it doesn't get very ugly and affect my grandchildren,'' Randhir Kapoor said.

Randhir Kapoor also said that Sunjay is a "third-class person".

At the peak of her career, Karisma Kapoor tied the knot on September 29, 2003 with industrialist Sunjay Kapur. After staying separate for years the couple filed for legal separation on May 23, 2014. Many stories in the past, claimed that Sunjay was cheating on Karisma Kapoor and that is the reason of their divorce.
