Adipurush: ‘Cartoon Version Of Ramayana', Film TROLLED For Bad VFX; Saif Looks More Like Afghan Invader

Adipurush Trolled: South superstar Prabhas' most-awaited film of 2023, Adipurush, has finally arrived in theatres. Also starring Kriti Sanon as Sita, Saif Ali Khan as Ravana, and Sunny Singh as Laxman in key roles, Adipurush is a retelling of the Hindu epic Ramayana.

The film is made on a humongous budget of Rs 500 crore, and after bumper advance booking, the film has opened to terrific response. Fans who waited to watch their favourite star on screen as Lord Ram with bated breath are flocking to theatres in great numbers.

Adipurush trolled for its bad VFX and poor script

Though the film has received an overwhelming response, there is a section of the audience that is brutally trolling the film for its bad and poor VFX, Prabhas' depiction of Ram, and the poor script of the film.

There are some who also criticised Saif Ali Khan's look and said that he looks more like an Afghan invader than King Ravana. The film first opened as early as 4.30 in the South and at 7 in the Hindi-speaking belt of the country.

Note, that Adipurush's trailer and teaser were both hugely criticised, and several memes were circulated on social media, leading the makers to delay the film's release to rework on its weak points. The revamped trailer created a lot of buzz, but eventually many were displeased with the quality of the film and its shoddy graphics.

Taking to the microblogging site, one netizen said, "Good 1st Half and decent 2nd Half. Hanuman scenes worked really well. Music and Songs. VFX is Big Let down. Emotional connect is lacking in 2nd half. Overall a decent movie to watch."

"If Hanumanji decides to watch #Adipurush from any that one seat emptied on his name in theatres. Damn Sure, He'll crush @omraut for making this," tweeted one user.

Some compared Prabhas' look with Ram Charan's Lord Ram look from RRR and wrote, "I think Ram Charan sir looks far better as Prabhu Shree Ram than Drunken Prabhas . Prabhas Fans this is hard to digest but it's true."

Well, whatever some users say, Adipurush is already set to create history at the box office, and the early estimates say that the mythological saga will rake in over 80 crore on its opening day.
