I have this specific memory of putting on Om Shanti Om at home, and I would do the wave that Shah Rukh Khan and others would do, making my cousin tie my dupatta on her bracelet to repeat the whole thing. Mom would hate to watch her own movies at home and would get shy and awkward, so we would end up watching them when she wasn't around and re-enact funny things she would do in them. According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, a source confirmed that Salaar makers are taking a stand against unfair trade practices adopted by Pen Marudhar and Dunki. The report stated, "Salaar team is planning to hurt the multiplex chains - PVR-Inox and Miraj - where it hurts the most. The makers have withdrawn the release of Salaar from the multiplex chains in the South Indian Markets. They won't be releasing Salaar in any of their properties in the South Market.” It added, "Being a market leader, PVR-Inox should have taken a firm stand against unfair trade practices. But rather, they have opted to openly favor Dunki. All the single screens managed by PVR-Inox and Miraj favor Dunki over Salaar. The decision and change of tide happened last night when Shah Rukh Khan himself called Ajay Bijli and struck a lucrative deal with him with regards to showcasing.”

Aamir Khan has wished filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani on completing 20 years in movies and said he is excited about his next directorial, "Dunki," starring Shah Rukh Khan in the lead. "Dunki," a comedy drama based on an illegal immigration technique called 'donkey flight', is slated to be released worldwide on Thursday. Aamir, who starred in "3 Idiots" and "PK," congratulated the director in a video message that was posted on the official Instagram page of the director's production banner, Rajkumar Hirani Films. "He is one of my favourite directors. Congratulations, Raju, on completing 20 years and your next film is coming up, 'Dunki'. We are all very excited to see what magic you and Shah Rukh have created. Wishing you all the very best and may you always have success. Lots of love," he said. Dunki is releasing tomorrow.

YRF's-backed Dhoom 3 completed 10 years on December 20, Wednesday. The film, released in 2013, was a hit. Sharing some unseen pictures from the sets of the film, Abhishek Bachchan wrote, “Marking 10 years today.” Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, Dhoom 3 also starred Katrina Kaif, Aamir Khan, Uday Chopra, and Jackie Shroff in lead roles.

Disney+ Hotstar on Wednesday announced its new series "Showtime," starring Emraan Hashmi, Mahima Makwana, Mouni Roy, and Naseeruddin Shah. The upcoming show is produced by Dharmatic Entertainment and created by Sumit Roy and showrunner Mihir Desai. Desai also serves as director along with Archit Kumar. "Showtime" is billed as an epic saga of legacy and ambition in the world of cinema. It will give you a sneak peek into "what goes behind the multi-million dollar industry of Bollywood, nepotism, and the power struggles at the top," the makers said in a press release. Starring Rajeev Khandelwal and Shriya Saran in pivotal roles, "Showtime" will stream on Disney+ Hotstar next year.

Filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga reacted to the controversial ‘big pelvis’ dialogue from his latest release, Animal. Talking to Galatta Plus, the director said, “He’s trying a different route to explain to her because it’s her engagement day and they were not in touch. Coming with that force and saying ‘Listen Gitanjali I really love your pelvis.’ He is trying to explain a theory which is related to the character, the title also, for the audience when they are watching the film it doesn’t seem like what theory he is talking about.” He then added, “I felt like she is walking away, he knew that if he let her go without saying one more line, he knew that she was gone. So how should I say that I am seeing my future with you? I want to marry you. I thought in these situations boys behave very differently sometimes. Your intention is something else but you end up saying something else. So, he didn’t know what to say. This was the brief given to Ranbir also. The makers of the Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna starrer revenge drama Animal have officially announced the sequel to the film. The film also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Triptii Dimri. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, its sequel is titled Animal Park. Sharing the news on Tuesday, the T Series official page wrote, “It’s a partnership built on trust, fueled by creative freedom, and fortified by an unbreakable bond. After months of speculation, actress Kangana Ranaut’s father has confirmed that the actress will be contesting the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2024 on a Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) ticket. Amardeep Ranaut told News18 that Kangana will contest the elections on a BJP ticket only, but the party has to decide a place from where she will be contesting. On Sunday, the actress held a meeting with BJP National President JP Nadda at his residence in Shastri Nagar, Kullu.

SRK, who is in Dubai promoting the film, witnessed it with director Dunki Rajkumar Hirani and writer Abhijat Joshi. Dunki also features Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar, Anil Grover, and Boman Irani and is releasing on Thursday, December 21.
