Joe Jonas has initiated divorce proceedings with his spouse, Sophie Turner, the Game of Thrones actress. The couple, who were married for four years, are parents to two children: 3-year-old Willa and their 1-year-old daughter. In the divorce petition submitted by the Jonas Brothers singer, it was stated that "the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken." Joe is seeking joint custody of their children, and according to a source cited by TMZ, "Joe and Sophie have a prenup — something Joe also addresses in his divorce documents." Breaking their silence on it, they issued a joint statement that read, “After four wonderful years of marriage, we have decided to amicably end our marriage. There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is an united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children."

This year marks three decades since Shilpa Shetty made her unforgettable debut in Abbas-Mustan's 1993 romantic thriller "Baazigar." In her upcoming project, the actress is set to take on her first titular role in quite some time. The trailer for "Sukhee" was unveiled on Wednesday, featuring Shilpa in the character of a defiant homemaker.

Basking in the success of OMG 2, Akshay Kumar will next be seen in Mission Raniganj (Earlier titled Capsule Gill). Taking to social media today, the superstar posted the motion poster and announced that the film's teaser will be out tomorrow (September 7). The film is inspired by a real-life incident at “Raniganj Coalfield” and inspired by the heroic act of Late Shri Jaswant Singh Gill who led Bharat's coal mine rescue mission. Also starring Parineeti Chopra, the film is slated to release on October 6.

Shah Rukh Khan's eagerly awaited movie, "Jawan," is set to hit theaters worldwide in just one day. Film industry analyst Manobala Vijayabalan, on Wednesday, turned to Twitter to provide an update on the advance bookings for "Jawan." According to him, the action-packed film has already raked in an impressive ₹51.17 crore globally. Notably, "Jawan" has also outperformed "Pathaan" in India, with its first-day advance bookings surpassing ₹32 crore in the country.

Hrithik Roshan’s ex-wife Sussanne Khan took to her Instagram Story on Wednesday and posted a picture with their sons and Hrithik's father and filmmaker Rakesh Roshan to wish him on his 74th birthday. Bhumi Pednekar, Shehnaaz Gill, and Anil Kapoor starrer Thank You For Coming trailer was unveiled today. The film also stars Dolly Singh, Kusha Kapila, Shibani Bedi, Pradhuman Singh Mall, Natasha Rastogi, Gautmik, Sushant Divgikar, Saloni Daini, Dolly Ahluwalia, and Karan Kundrra in key roles. Produced by Rhea Kapoor, Ektaa Kapoor, and Shobha Kapoor under the Balaji Motion Pictures banner, the film is directed by Rhea Kapoor’s husband, Karan Boolani, who is making his debut. It will have its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival 2023 on September 15. The film is a coming-of-age film that deals with the taboo of women’s orgasm. On Wednesday, actress Parineeti Chopra took to her Instagram account to share a clip as Shuddh Desi Romance turned 10. She remembered her co-star Sushant Singh Rajput and penned a note for him, saying she misses him even more today. She also remembered Rishi Kapoor, who was a part of the film. Sharing some beautiful moments from the film’s shoot time, she wrote, "Time really flies! A decade to this film but the memories are still fresh. Tollywood actor Mahesh Babu gave a big shoutout to Shah Rukh Khan and the team of Jawan as the film releases on September 7. The Telugu superstar took to X (previously known as Twitter) and said that he will watch the film with his wife Namrata Shirodkar and children, daughter Sitara and son Gautam. Dream Girl 2, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday, has performed well at the box office. The film has crossed Rs 100 crore worldwide. Shared a small clip from one of his dance numbers from the film, the actor wrote on X, "Pooja ek tyohaar hai, Aapke pyaar ke vajah se ab 100 crore ke paar hai (Pooja is a festival, thanks to your love as the film has crossed ₹100 crore with your love)." On Tuesday, the film on day 12 earned 3 crore, and its total collection in the domestic market stands at Rs 91.96 crore. Dream Girl 2 was released on August 25 and was directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa.

In his filing, Jonas stated that "the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken". They also have a prenuptial agreement in place. Jonas and Turner tied the knot in 2019 after dating each other for three years. The couple welcomed their daughter Willa in 2020 and had another daughter in 2022. Meanwhile, Jonas is seeking joint custody of his daughters. The divorce documents stated, "It is in the best interests of the minor children that the parties have shared parental responsibility. A parenting plan should be established, which addresses all parenting issues and contains a timesharing schedule providing for frequent and continuing contact with both parties." Sophie Turner is known for her role as Sansa in HBO’s popular show Game of Thrones.

Vishal Bhardwaj’s new web series, Charlie Chopra and the Mystery of Solang Valley trailer was dropped today, September 6. The series is based on a novel by Agatha Christie and stars Wamiqa Gabbi, who plays the titular role of a detective investigating the murder of Brigadier Meherbaan Rawat, played by Gulshan Grover. The trailer looks intriguing, as it leaves you wondering about the dark secrets and web of lies. The trailer’s summary read: "A rich man dead, a town full of suspects, narratives filled with lies, and an innocent convict. How will Charlie navigate through the mystery when every face hides a secret?" The show stars Nasseruddin Shah and his family, including wife Ratna Pathak Shah, and their two sons, Vivaan Shah and Imaad Shah, in pivotal roles. It also boasts an impressive cast, including Neena Gupta, Lara Dutta, Gulshan Grover, Priyanshu Painyuli, Chandan Roy Sanyal, and Paoli Dam. Co-written by Anjum Rajabali and Jyotsna Hariharan, along with Vishal Bharadwaj, Charlie Chopra will stream on Sony LIV from September 27 onwards.

Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel’s Gadar 2 has slowed down since Monday. Its earnings now stand at Rs 506.27 crore and will soon beat SS Rajamouli's directorial Baahubali 2’s Hindi collection, which stands at Rs 510.99 crore. On Tuesday, Gadar 2 earned 2.6 crore. Meanwhile, Gadar 2 is expected to earn another Rs 2.40 crore in India net on its twenty-seventh day, with which its tortola collection will go up to Rs 508.67 crore in India, which is close enough to Baahubali’s collection. Directed by Anil Sharma, Gadar 2 is the sequel to the 2001 blockbuster movie Gadar: Ek Prem Katha and was released on August 11.

Earlier, it was reported that Tamil superstar Dhanush will be reuniting with director Aanand L Rai for the third time for a film titled Tere Ishk Mein. And now, as per the latest development, actress Kiara Advani is also in talks for the movie as the female lead; however, there’s no official confirmation on the same. If a report by India Glitz is to be believed, Dhanush’s character will be named Shankar, and the love story will be set against the backdrop of the Air Force. Reportedly, the film will begin filming in either November or December. The first schedule of Tere Ishk Mein will be shot in Uttar Pradesh, and it is scheduled to be released next year in June.
