Prime Video, India’s most loved entertainment destination, today announced the worldwide premiere of the upcoming crime-detective series, P.I. Meena. Launching on November 3, the Amazon Original series follows the edge-of-your-seat investigation by a young and troubled private detective who gets drawn into an unfathomable whirlwind of deception and unending conspiracies, while being torn between her life and her dogged dedication to solving an unsolvable mystery. Created by Arindam Mitra and directed by Debaloy Bhattacharya, P.I. Meena stars Tanya Maniktala in the titular role, along with Parambrata Chattopadhyay, Jisshu Sengupta, Vinay Pathak, and Zarina Wahab in pivotal roles.

According to the latest update, actor Anil Kapoor has joined forces with 'The Lunchbox' director Ritesh Batra for an international movie that will feature a French actress. As per Pinkvilla, the film will be about an unusual relationship between an Indian man and a French woman. The outlet quoted a source saying, "Anil Kapoor loved the script and has already given his nod. The film is set to be a grand Indo-French production, and if all goes well, it will go on floors early next year."

Actor Ranbir Kapoor recently revealed his daughter Raha’s birthday plan as she turns one next month. During a virtual gathering with his fans on Zoom, he revealed that Raha's upcoming birthday would be a low-key family affair. Alia and Ranbir were blessed with a baby girl, Raha, on November 6, 2022. He shared, “She is going to turn one-year-old and we are going to have a small birthday party for her at home with just family and cousins. So, looking forward to that.”

Actors R Madhavan and Kay Kay Menon's upcoming series "The Railway Men" will make its debut on Netflix on November 18, the streamer announced on Thursday. Directed by first-time filmmaker Shiv Rawail, the show is produced by Yash Raj Films' digital arm, YRF Entertainment. Actors Divyenndu and Babil Khan also feature in pivotal roles in the series. "The Railway Men" is set against the backdrop of the 1984 Bhopal Gas Leak, the world's worst industrial disaster, and inspired by true stories. It is dubbed a "thrilling account of courage and a salute to humanity". The series offers a poignant narrative of the unsung heroes—the railway employees of India—who went beyond their call of duty, trying to save the lives of hundreds of innocent citizens trapped in a helpless city, Netflix said in a press release. It is the first project to come out of the creative collaboration between Netflix and Yash Raj Films (YRF). It is written by Aayush Gupta.

Karan Johar revealed in the first episode of his chat show Koffee With Karan 8 that he experienced a depressive episode recently, in April, during the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre launch. Explaining what happened to his guests Deepika and Ranveer, Karan said, “The legit attack I had was at the NMACC launch. I remember Varun (Dhawan) was staring at me. I was sweating, I didn't even realise. He came to me, held my hand and asked ‘Are you okay?’ And my hands were shaking.” He then stated that Varun took him to a room where he did some breathing exercises and felt that he was having a heart attack. “I got out of my long and elaborate jacket and I left in half an hour. I just went to my bed and I wept. I just cried and I didn't know why I was crying.” Karan then revealed that he consulted his psychologist, who put him on medication, and he is well now.

Filmmaker Subhash Ghai and his wife, Mukta Ghai, celebrated their wedding anniversary in Mumbai on Wednesday. They hosted an intimate dinner party, which was attended by Ghai's Khalnayak actors Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, and Anupam Kher.
