Prabhas has been making waves ever since the announcement of his upcoming film, Salaar. The recently released trailer quickly amassed a million views, leaving fans eagerly anticipating its release. Now, there are reports suggesting that the renowned KGF star, Yash, will be making a cameo appearance in the movie. The hint comes from the film's singer, Theertha Subhash, who accidentally mentioned Yash's presence in Salaar during a recent media interaction. However, she later clarified the same and shared a note on her Instagram handle, “I have seen the KGF movie many times. When the opportunity arose, my father had said that Salar’s music and stuff was the KGF team. So I had in my mind that Yash uncle will also be in Salar. It was in that one seat that the bait said. Crunchyroll is excited to announce the association of renowned Indian actor and producer Ali Fazal as part of the Hindi voice cast in the highly anticipated anime adaptation of Solo Leveling. Crunchyroll recently announced that the anime adaptation of the Korean WEBTOON sensation, Solo Leveling, will make its global debut on Crunchyroll’s streaming platform on January 6, 2024. The Hindi dub, as well as the subtitle, will also be available to stream simultaneously. Ali Fazal is set to lend his Hindi voice to the character Song Chiyul, a Korean C-Rank Hunter. Song Chiyul is an older gentleman who has taken the weak protagonist, Sung Jinwoo, under his wing. He navigates the challenges of the Double Dungeon incident alongside Sung Jinwoo. Talking about lending his voice to the Hindi dub of an international sensation anime series, Ali Fazal said, “Joining the cast of Solo Leveling and lending my voice to one of its gritty characters is a unique and exciting opportunity. I always strive to do something new with each of my projects, and this opportunity is definitely among them. The character of Song Chiyul is truly remarkable, and I am honored to be a part of this amazing and exciting project. Streaming platform Prime Video announced on Tuesday that its upcoming original film "Dry Day" will premiere on December 22. Directed by Saurabh Shukla and produced by Emmay Entertainment, the social satire stars Jitendra Kumar, Shriya Pilgaonkar, and Annu Kapoor. According to a press release, "Dry Day" is a comedy drama that unfolds in the heartland of the country, where the protagonist, Gannu (Kumar), a small-time goon, embarks on a journey against the system. "Amidst the emotional quest to earn the trust and love of his dear ones, Gannu not only confronts the external challenges but also struggles with his own insecurities and issue of alcoholism," the synopsis read. Nikkhil Advani, who serves as a producer on "Dry Day", said, "'Dry Day' gives an important and relevant message about alcoholism, and I consider myself fortunate to have had the opportunity to craft this film. Following the remarkable success of 'Mumbai Diaries', our collaboration with Prime Video has grown stronger over the years and I'm looking forward to seeing how the viewers receive this meaningful narrative." "Dry Day" will be released on Prime Video in Hindi, along with dubs in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.

Starring Prabhas’ Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire is releasing on December 22 and will face a clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki, which is releasing on December 21. And now, Salaar producer Vijay Kirgandur of Hombale Films has opened up about the clash between the two movies. Talking to Bollywood Hungama, he said, “We don’t want things to be ugly. We are already having meetings with the exhibitors and distributors. When we have a solo release, the occupancy generally will be around 60-70 percent. Some screens will go to Aquaman but between Salaar and Dunki, we hope to get 50-50 screens in the best scenario. In such a scenario, if an occupancy of 90-100 percent is achieved, it’ll be a good result for both films. Even if we get more screens, the occupancy will anyway go down to 60 percent or 70 percent. What we are planning is that we should get more occupancy, even if we get fewer screens than what we would have got if Salaar was a solo release. Even Overseas, these discussions are going on. Programming is the key now and that’s what we are focusing on, without getting into ugly fights.”

Shah Rukh Khan visited Vaishno Devi Shrine in Jammu & Kashmir for the third time in the year ahead of his next movie's release. On Tuesday, SRK was spotted disguised in a black puffer jacket with a hoodie on as he walked towards Jammu's holy shrine with his bodyguards and managers. News agency PTI shared a video on X and wrote, "VIDEO | Bollywood actor @iamsrk visited Mata Vaishno Devi shrine earlier today." His manager, Pooja Dadlani was also seen with him. Dunki is directed by Rajkumar Hirani, and the film is releasing on December 21.

Actors Adivi Sesh and Shruti Haasan will be seen together in a pan-India action drama, the makers announced on Tuesday. The untitled film is produced by Supriya Yarlagadda and presented by Annapurna Studios. The project marks the feature directorial debut of Shaneil Deo, who has previously served as the director of photography for several Telugu blockbusters such as "Kshanam" and "Goodachari," both headlined by Sesh. In a press statement, the makers said the film will be shot in Telugu and Hindi separately. "Every frame, dialogue, and scene of the film is being shot separately in Hindi as well as in Telugu. It is being treated differently according to the cultural nuances of each language," they said. The upcoming feature marks Sesh's second Hindi movie outing after his 2022 acclaimed film "Major," which featured him as the 2008 Mumbai terror attack martyr Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. The film is co-produced by Suniel Narang, with Sesh and Deo sharing story and screenplay credits.

Ranbir Kapoor’s latest blockbuster, Animal, recorded its lowest figure on Monday. The film collected ₹13 crore, as per early estimates in a report on Sacnilk.com. This takes the film’s total collection in India to ₹443 crore. According to the report, Animal had around 21.41 percent Hindi occupancy on Monday, similar for Telugu shows, and 19.73 percent occupancy for Tamil shows. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film has earned more than ₹700 crore worldwide. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and others in key roles.

Actors Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram tied the knot in Imphal on November 29, following Manipuri traditions.
