Actress Preity Zinta met spiritual guru Dalai Lama with her husband, Gene Goodenough, in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh. Taking to her Instagram page, Preity shared a few glimpses from their meeting and said that she was grateful to have spent some time with him. In the images, we see them sharing some laughter and conversation. Sharing the pictures, Zinta also spoke about her experience meeting the Dalai Lama.

After a 60-year-old woman from Khardah, West Bengal, named Shivani, who is suffering from cancer, expressed her wish to meet superstar Shah Rukh Khan at least once in her life, the actor made a video call to her. According to a report by India Today, SRK spoke to her for 40 minutes and also promised to meet her soon and help her in the treatment process financially. Shuvani’s daufhetr said that Shah Rukh wished for her mother’s speedy recovery and also promised to visit their Kolkata home. She said, "SRK will pray for my mother's speedy recovery. He read a 'dua' for her. SRK promised my mum that he would come to my wedding and have fish curry made in her kitchen provided the fish did not have bones."

He said, "I want to explore India more and I don't think I would want to travel anywhere else for my films unless the producer or director is from Hollywood. I want to stick to my culture. I want to educate that our Indian sentiments are so strong. Our culture is so strong. There's a lot of dignity in our stories. Nowadays, when you see it, it's not South Indian or North Indian movie, it's about Indian mitti ka (soil's) stories. These stories are finally coming out."

Taking to social media, his RRR co-star JR NTR mourned his demise and tweeted, "Shocked to hear about Ray Stevenson's passing. Gone too soon. It was a great experience working with him. According to early trade estimates, the film earned approximately 5.50 crore rupees on Day 18, reflecting a decrease of around 6 crore from the previous day's collection. Consequently, The Kerala Story's total box office earnings now amount to an impressive 204.47 crore rupees. On May 22, the film achieved an overall occupancy rate of 15.58 percent in the Hindi language.

Representatives for Stevenson told The Associated Press that he died Sunday but had no other details to share on Monday.
