Citadel India Update: After the success of The Family Man 2, South superstar Samantha Ruth Prabhu is currently busy working on her second web series, Citadel, alongside Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan and fans are eagerly awaiting its release.

Citadel is the Indian adaptation of the international series of the same name, starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Richard Madden in the lead roles. The show marks the first collaboration between Samantha and Varun.

VARUN-SAMANTHA KISSING SCENES IN CITADEL INDIA

As per the ongoing buzz, Samantha Ruth Prabhu has agreed to film intimate and kissing scenes with Varun Dhawan for their much-awaited series, Citadel India. The Indian version is currently in production. While specific details about the storyline are not much available, a report suggests that the Indian show, much like the original, will also include lip-lock scenes.

Dinamalar, a Tamil news outlet, reported that Samantha has agreed to film kissing scenes with Varun Dhawan. The report mentioned that similar to the ongoing version, where Priyanka and Richard share intense bedroom scenes, Samantha and Varun's Citadel India will also have such intimate moments.

However, at the time of reporting, we could not confirm these claims as there has been no official response from the series' makers.

VARUN-SAMANTHA CITADEL NOT A REMAKE OF PRIYANKA CHOPRA'S SHOW

In the meantime, Samantha has clarified that Citadel India is not a remake of Priyanka's version. Responding to a fan's question recently about whether the series is a remake of the English show, Samantha clarified that it is not a remake.
