The Vaccine War First Review: Vivek Agnihotri’s Film Starring Nana Patekar Is A ‘Must Watch’ Life Experience
The Vaccine War First Review: After the record-breaking success of his last directorial venture The Kashmir Files, ace filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri is all set to entertain fans with his next film titled The Vaccine War. Touted as a medical thriller, the film's story is rooted in the real-life events surrounding the creation of Covaxin amid the COVID-19 pandemic in India.
Featuring Nana Patekar, Pallavi Joshi, Anupam Kher, Raima Sen, Mohan Kapur, Girija Oak, Sapthami Gowda, and Nivedita Bhattacharya in pivotal roles, The Vaccine War is "India's first bio-science film" and moviegoers are looking forward to watching it on the big screen. Amid a good buzz and high expectations, it is finally set to hit the theatres tomorrow (September 28) and will clash with Fukrey 3.
Ahead of its release, the first review of The Vaccine War is already out, and as expected, the film has received a positive response.
THE VACCINE WAR FIRST REVIEW
As the film's team is gearing up for its release, director Vivek Agnihotri took to social media and shared the screenshot of the first review of The Vaccine War. Recently, the movie was screened for scientists at ICMR - National Institute of Malaria Research (NIMR) in Delhi. One of the scientists, named Dr. Lokesh Kori, shared his views about The Vaccine War after watching it and called it a 'must watch'. Yes, you read that right!
Praising the movie, Kori wrote, "A must-watch life experience for each of us, science, scientists, society, and survival. Attended special screening of The Vaccine War, thanks for the invitation ICMR-HQ."
Sharing the screenshot, Vivek Agnihotri tweeted, "A review of #TheVaccineWar from the scientist of @icmr_niv. ADVANCE BOOKINGS OPEN NOW."

FUKRA 3 VS THE VACCINE WAR ADVANCE BOOKING
Among Fukrey 3 and The Vaccine War, the former is leading as of now when it comes to Day 1 advance bookings. According to reports, Fukrey 3 has achieved a nationwide gross ticket sales of 1.04 crores (excluding blocked seats), largely fueled by its successful franchise factor.
The Vaccine War, on the other hand, is not experiencing significant pre-booking response, with only 25-30 lakhs gross ticket sales (excluding blocked seats). Its fate now rests on in-person, over-the-counter ticket sales. Well, the same happened with Agnihotri's last release The Kashmir Files. Here's hoping that his new film too creates history at the ticket window.
VIVEK AGNIHOTRI NEXT FILM AFTER THE VACCINE WAR
After The Vaccine War, Vivek Agnihotri will start work on The Delhi Files, the third and final film in Files franchise after The Tashkent Files and The Kashmir Files.
