Salman Khan Vs Lawrence Bishnoi Blackbuck Poaching Case: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has been under the radar of notorious jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi for a while now. Lawrence Bishnoi has been issuing death threats to the 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' in connection with the blackbuck poaching case, threatening to kill him.

For those unversed, Salman had been accused of allegedly killing two blackbucks during the shoot of his film 'Hum Saath Saath Hain' in Rajasthan, which deeply offended the Bishnoi community. Over the years, the Bishnoi gang has been issuing multiple death threats to the actor, demanding an apology from him.

Blackbuck Case: Salman Khan's Security Tightened After Baba Siddique's Murder

Ever since Salman Khan was accused of hooting two blackbucks, he had been under the hit list of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Earlier in April this year, two gunmen from the Bishnoi gang had filed multiple rounds of bullets outside Khan's apartment. The gang has also claimed responsibility in the murder of NCP leader and close friend of the actor, Baba Siddique.

Following the Baba Siddique murder case, Salman's security has been beefed up to Y+ category. As per reports, the actor will now be accompanied by police-escort vehicle whenever he leaves his residence.

Amid the tension, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang is willing to forgive Salman only if he goes to their sacred temple - Mukam Mukti Dham temple - and apologize to the Bishnoi community in the blackbuck poaching case.

Recently, former BJP MP Harnath Singh Yadav took to Twitter (now X) and urged the superstar to issue an apology to the Bishnoi samaj. He wrote in Hindi, "People make mistakes. You are a top actor, and a large number of people in the country love you. My good advice is to respect the Bishnoi community's sentiments and apologise for your big mistake."

Meanwhile, fans are debating online whether Salman should apologize or not. one of the users tweeted, "Every wel lwisher of Salman should advise him to go to the temple near Bikaner and express regrets for anything which has rightly or wrongly hurt the community. This he should do irrespective of whether there is a threat or not," while another one wrote, "Should he is the question? On one hand, it's simple, if you've hurt the sentiments of a community, no harm in going to their temple and apologising. On the other hand does one give into extortion? And if one does, where does the line end?"
