Vijay Varma is on a spree of signing back-to-back projects. The actor has started shooting for the much-anticipated Prime Video series titled 'Matka King'. On Wednesday (June 12), Vijay took to Instagram and shared the first-look poster of the project. Set in the 1960s Mumbai, the series is being helmed by Nagraj Manjule.

Amazon Prime Videos recently dropped the teaser of Mirzapur Season 3. The teaser starts with a lion and a lioness playing together in an open field. Kulbhushan Kharbanda gives his voice to the video, saying, "Ek balwan nar aur ek chust mada jab hadkamp machete hain to use jungle aksar dahal jata hai." Then we see Ali Fazal's character Guddu Pandit entering as Kharbanda calling him "sawa sher" of the jungle. In the teaser, Shweta Tripathi's character Gajgamini Gupta is referred as "jungle billi" and Isha Talwar's character Madhuri Yadav Tripathi is referred as "chalak lomri." The teaser further claims, "Ghayal sher laut aaya hai," hinting towards Pankaj Tripathi's character Kaleen bhaiya.

Chandu Champion will hit the theaters on June 14 amid a huge buzz and high expectations. Interestingly, ahead of the film's release, its first review is already out, and as anticipated, it predominantly praises the biographical and sports drama starring Kartik Aaryan as India's first Paralympics gold medallist Murlikant Petkar. The reviewer has called Chandu Champion a 'brilliant' biopic and adds that Kartik has delivered a career-defining performance. The first review reads, "A brilliant biopic on Shri Murlikant Petkar.... Without any doubt @TheAaryanKartik delivers a career-defining performance, showcasing an undeniable level of dedication and hard work evident in every nuance of the character. Movie run time : 143 Mins..."

The first Monday came with a blow for Munjya, it has been undoubtedly holding its ground and it going stronger with every day. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Munjya, which minted Rs 4 crores on day 4 (first Monday), saw a hike in numbers on day 5 (first Tuesday) and raked in Rs 4.3 crores which took the overall numbers of the movie to Rs 27.55 crores. Given the ongoing trend, Munjya is likely to roar loud once and mint Rs 3.5-4 crores today (day 6/ first Wednesday) taking the overall collection over Rs 30 crores mark. It will be interesting to see how much Munjya will mint in its first week.
