Lawrence Bishnoi Hit List: After Salman Khan, Why Is Munawar Faruqui On Bishnoi Gang's Target List?

The notorious gang of Lawrence Bishnoi has been after superstar Salman Khan since years now. Earlier in April this year, several rounds of bullets were fired outside Khan's residence in Mumbai, Galaxy Apartments, by the alleged members of Lawrence Bishnoi's gang. Over the years, the 31-year-old jailed gangster had issued multiple death threats to the 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' actor over the 1989 poaching case. For those unversed, Salman was accused of killing a blackbuck - which the Bishnoi community consider as a sacred animal - during the shoot of his film 'Hum Saath Saath Hain' in Rajasthan.

Now, according to multiple reports surfacing online, the gang has also allegedly planned to kill popular comedian Munawar Faruqui. As per a Times Now report, Munawar was under their radar for allegedly mocking Hindu gods during his comic stints. For those unversed, the 32-year-old comedian had spent months in jail over his jokes on Hindi religion during one of his stand up shows.

Here's How Munawar Escaped Lawrence Bishnoi Gang's Planned Death Attack

As per reports, in September, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang allegedly planned a death attack on Munawar while he was attending an event in Delhi. Two gunmen allegedly took the same flight, in which Munawar was flying from Mumbai to Delhi. They had also allegedly booked rooms in rhe same hotel in which Munawar was planning to stay in Delhi.

Reportedly, the police received a tip off and escorted the comedian to Mumbai under tight security of Mumbai Police. The Mumbai police has now provided the comedian with security.
