According to ABP Live, SRK apparently received a death threat over a call. Reportedly, a case has been registered against the unidentified person in Bandra police station. The shocking news came days after Khan celebrated his 59th birthday.

Shah Rukh Khan Receives Death Threat Call: Report

Days after celebrating his 59th birthday, Shah Rukh Khan has allegedly gotten a death threat call demanding Rs 50 lakhs. According to a News18 report, a case has been registered against the accused in the Bandra Police Station under the sections of 308(4), 351(3)(4) of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the same News18 report, the name of the accused who made the death threat call is Faizan Khan apparently, a youth from Raipur, Chattisgarh.

Reportedly, a team of the Mumbai Police has gone to Raipur for to investigate the death threat case. As per Jagran, the accused has been arrested.

For those unversed, SRK was provided Y+ security after receiving death threats last year after back-to-back successes of 'Pathaan' and 'Jawan'. This year, the actor skipped to greet his fans on his birthday outside his home Mannat, as per his birthday ritual, duo to security reasons apparently.

On the work front, he will next be seen in Sujoy Ghosh's upcoming directorial, 'King'. In the film, he will be sharing the screen space with his daughter Suhana Khan for the first time.

The movie also stars Abhishek Bachchan and 'Munjya' star Abhay Verma. King is expected to go on floors very soon.
