Amid high anticipation, the much-awaited trailer of Dharma Productions' upcoming courtroom-drama 'Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story Of Jallianwala Bagh' has been dropped. The trailer launch event took place in Delhi in the presence of the starcast. The trailer showcases the ultimate showdown between Akshay and R Madhavan in the courtroom, revisiting the heart-wrenching and horrifying Jallianwala Bagh massacre. The film also features Ananya Panday in the lead.

Prime Video on Thursday announced that it has renewed popular series "Panchayat" for a fourth season which will arrive on the streamer on July 2. The comedy drama, which premiered with its first season in April 2020, was an instant hit on Prime Video and garnered overwhelming response leading to a second season that came out in May 2022.

Actor Ali Fazal has paid a tribute to Val Kilmer, saying he was the first high-profile Hollywood star to praise his performance in the 2017 film "Victoria & Abdul". Kilmer, who played Ice Man in “Top Gun”, Jim Morrison in “The Doors” and portrayed Batman in “Batman Forever”, died from pneumonia on Tuesday night in Los Angeles, surrounded by family and friends. In a post on Instagram, Fazal shared a photo of Kilmer from "The Doors", the 1991 biopic on Morrison by filmmaker Oliver Stone. "RIP Mr Val Kilmer . I write this note because you were the 1st big ticket compliment i ever got from an actor of your calibre- for my attempt to portray a real person in 'Victoria and Abdul'," he wrote. "Hell I dare say, I know I got miles to go. But this from someone whose performance changed the way I saw acting at a time when I was lapping up the Brandos and the Pacinos of the world. You made a better Jim Morrison than Morrison that day for me. Live on, cuz this doesnt end - we are privileged because we are in mediums that linger longer than times assigned," the "Mirzapur" actor added.

Stand-up comedian and actor Vir Das has announced his debut as an author with the memoir, "The Outsider". The International Emmy-winning comedian shared the news on Instagram where he posted a video that showcased various chapters of his life, career, and identity. "I WROTE A BOOK!!!!! Nushrratt Bharuchha's highly-anticipated Chhorii sequel is all set to release next week. Ahead of its premiere, the makers dropped Chhorii 2 trailer a while ago. This time, Soha Ali Khan has joined the cast of the supernatural horror-thriller. The official Prime Video synopsis of the sequel reads, "Seven years after the events of Chhorii, Sakshi lives peacefully with her daughter, Ishani, far from the horrors of their past. Ishani suffers from a rare condition that forces her to live in darkness, as sunlight could kill her. Despite this, Ishani remains a brave and happy child. One night, a ghostly figure appears in Ishani’s room, luring her away like a possessed doll. When Sakshi returns home, Ishani is gone. Desperate, she turns to Inspector Samar for help. Their search leads them back to the village she swore never to revisit. In the maze-like sugarcane fields, Sakshi and Samar face ancient terrors. Separated by a sinister force, Sakshi encounters someone she thought was dead, only to be struck down and left unconscious. In the viral picture, the brother-sister duo is seen enjoying a night out with cousins Alia Chhiba and Arjun Chhiba at a fun-filled party.
