Dressed in a white kurta-pyjama for the fan meet, the 59-year-old actor made an appearance on the balcony of Galaxy Apartments along with his niece Ayat Sharma. On X, Salman posted a video of him extending Eid greetings to fans. He waved, blew kisses, did a 'salaam' here and a 'namaste' there as he looked over to a sea of admirers standing outside his house amid heavy police deployment, while also humouring his five-year-old niece. "Shukriya Thank you aur sab ko Eid Mubarak," he wrote in the caption.

Sanoj Kumar Mishra is a director who has recently been arrested after his anticipatory bail plea was rejected by the Delhi High Court. According to India Today's report, a 28-year-old woman filed an alleged rape case against Sanoj. The director was allegedly "sexually exploiting" the young woman. This woman who took legal action against the director is from Jhansi. As per the victim's claim, she met the director Sanoj through TikTok and Instagram. The woman and Sanoj used to chat online. He then came to Jhansi railway station and asked the victim to meet him. However, she refuses to do so because of societal pressure. But Sanoj allegedly threatened her to commit suicide because she had to meet him. On June 18, 2021, the victim met Sanoj. He took him to a resort and allegedly "raped" after giving the drugs. In the FIR, the woman mentioned that Sanoj even took her "objectionable pictures and videos" and threatened to make them public if she protested. On the pretext of marriage, Sanoj used to call the victim at different places and continued to exploit her.

Prithviraj Sukumaran’s directorial L2: Empuraan opened to positive reviews upon its release on March 27. However, the film soon found itself embroiled in controversy due to certain sequences that allegedly reference the Gujarat riots. In response to the backlash, the makers have reportedly decided to implement 17 cuts, including muting specific dialogues. Amid the ongoing criticism, Prithviraj’s mother, Mallika Sukumaran, took to Facebook to express her disappointment. She addressed the accusations against her son, particularly claims that he misled superstar Mohanlal and the film’s producers, defending him against the growing criticism. "This is a mother’s pain. There is no point in someone making fun of me for speaking openly about it. Neither Mohanlal nor the producers have said that Prithviraj cheated them. I don’t think they will ever say that. Mohanlal is like my younger brother. I have known Lal since childhood. Mohanlal has praised my son on many occasions. But it is very sad that some people are trying to make my son a scapegoat without the knowledge of Lal or the producers. Director Prithviraj has not cheated anyone associated with this film or any film. He will never do so," she wrote.

Actor Kapil Sharma on Monday shared the first look poster of his film "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2", on the occasion of Eid. A sequel to 2015's release "Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon", which also marked Sharma's acting debut, the shooting of the upcoming film began in January. A young woman from a small town has accused him of repeated exploitation, alleging that he deceived her with false promises of making her a film star. As per reports, the victim first connected with Mishra in 2020 through TikTok and Instagram while residing in Jhansi. Their conversations became frequent, and on June 17, 2021, Mishra allegedly contacted her, claiming he was at Jhansi railway station. When she refused to meet him, he reportedly threatened self-harm, prompting her to agree to a meeting the next day. On June 18, 2021, Mishra allegedly took her to a resort, where he is accused of drugging and assaulting her. The victim's complaint states that he recorded obscene videos and used them as leverage to prevent her from resisting. Furthermore, she claimed that he continued to exploit her on multiple occasions, manipulating her with false promises of marriage and film opportunities.

As per Sacnilk.com, Sikandar collected ₹26 crore on its opening day, which fell on a Sunday. Despite the anticipation, the film failed to break any box office records. Notably, it lagged behind Chhaava, starring Vicky Kaushal, which opened at ₹31 crore. Comparatively, Salman Khan’s previous films set a much higher benchmark—Sultan (2016) debuted with ₹36.54 crore, while Tiger 3 (2023) saw a massive opening of ₹53.3 crore.
