Saif Ali Khan Stabbing Case: Ibrahim Ali Khan Talks About The Attack For The First Time

Ibrahim Ali Khan, who is almost a spitting image of his father Saif Ali Khan, made his acting debut in the Netflix film 'Nadaaniyan'. The 24-year-old recently opened up on the shocking knife attack on his dad and how he dealt with it. During an interview with GQ India, Iggy, as everyone calls him, revealed that he was shooting when the attack happened and he got to know about it almost 2-3 hours later.

Recalling the 'scary' moment, Ibrahim said, "I was shooting a night shift. He was stabbed around 2:30am and I was informed at 5:30 am. I hadn't slept that night and I rushed to see him. He had just come out of the ICU after surgery. He opened his eyes, spoke to Sara for a bit, and asked for me. I was so happy; I said, 'I'm right here, dad.' And then he said, "If you were there, you would've beaten that guy up." That made me weep. I wish I had been there. At one point, when I heard he got stabbed, I started to think of the worst-case scenario. That's a very scary feeling. And it was bad; it was very scary. (sic)"

It was also revealed that Ibrahim broke down completely after he got back home from the hospital visiting his dad.

When he was asked if the incident brought him closer to his father, Ibrahim replied, I feel a lot closer to him now. If someone in your immediate family has a near-death experience, you don't take them for granted. You become more present in the relationship. (sic)"

Did Ibrahim Ali Khan Really Drive Dad Saif Ali Khan To Hospital Post Stabbing Incident?

Was it Ibrahim who drove Saif Ali Khan to the hospital with his brother Taimur after he got stabbed? Setting the record straight, Ibrahim stated, "To everyone saying I drove him to the hospital with my baby brother, I would like to clarify that my dad walked into the hospital himself. He walked in with a knife stuck in him and said, 'I need help'. (sic)"

During the same interview, he also opened up about his parents' divorce and how he "didn't feel the pain that comes with a broken home."

"I was four or five years old, so I don't remember much. It was probably different for Sara as she was older. But my mom and dad have done a great job of ensuring I didn't feel the pain that comes with a broken home. I never saw them lose their cool at each other. Some things are just not meant to be. Now my dad is much happier with Bebo [Kareena Kapoor] and I've got two very handsome and naughty brothers. And my mom is the best mother ever. She takes great care of me, and I live with her. It's all good, (sic)" he added.
