RAID 2 CAST AND PLOT DETAILS
Raid was set in the politically charged era of the 1980s and centered around a daring income-tax operation executed by officers of the Indian Revenue Service (IRS). The film's gripping storyline, coupled with powerful performances, earned widespread acclaim and cemented its place as a standout in the genre of crime dramas.
In the highly anticipated sequel Raid 2, Ajay Devgn returns as the relentless IRS officer Amay Patnaik, this time going head-to-head with a new opponent, an influential and corrupt politician played by Riteish Deshmukh. As Amay leads another high-profile raid, he is met with unexpected roadblocks when the operation yields no immediate results. What follows is a tense and complex pursuit of justice as he uncovers deeper layers of political manipulation and systemic corruption.
The sequel takes things to a new level and also shows more of Amay's personal life, with Vaani Kapoor now playing his supportive wife, a role that was earlier played by Ileana D'Cruz in the first part. With a strong cast, compelling storyline, and a promise of intense drama, Raid 2 is building momentum as one of the most anticipated films of the year.
