The highly-anticipated third season of Kapil Sharma's Netflix show 'The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 3' kicked off in style with Salman Khan's grand appearance as the special guest on the premiere episode. TGIKS S3 episode 1, now streaming on Netflix, premiered last night (June 21) and showed Salman in different shades.
Between his smiles and jokes, the 'Sikandar' actor made a rare and shocking confession about his ongoing health battles. During the episode, the Khan has revealed that he is suffering from serious health diseases, including 'brain aneurysm' and 'AV malformation'.
"Hum ye jo daily ki haddiyan tudwa rahe hain, pasliyan toot gai, trigeminal neuralgia ke sath kaam kar rahe hain, aneurysm hai brain mein uske bawajood kaam kar rahe hain. AV malformation hai, uske bawajood chal rahe hain (I'm out here breaking my bones every day - ribs are fractured, I'm working despite having trigeminal neuralgia, there's an aneurysm in the brain, yet I'm still working. There's also an AV malformation, and still, I'm carrying on)," the actor said.
He further added, "All of this is going on in my life. Aur jahan unka mood satka, woh aadha humara leke chala gaya. Ye younger age mein hota toh theek tha, phirse kama lete. Ab wapis se... (And the moment their mood soured, they will take away half of what I had. Had this happened when I was younger, it would've been fine - I could've earned it all back. But now, starting over again...)"
Salman Khan Health Conditions: What Are Brain Aneurysm And AV Malformation?
Ever since Salman Khan's health confession, everyone has been wondering what these diseases are. According to Mayo Clinic, a brain aneurysm is a bulge or ballooning in a blood vessel that happens in the brain. As per experts, if the brain aneurysm leaks or ruptures, known as a hemorrhagic stroke, it causes bleeding in the brain, which can be life-threatening.
On the other hand, AVM (Arteriovenous Malformation) is an abnormal tangled condition of blood vessels that most often occurs in the spinal cord or in the brain, but can also develop in other parts of the body. AVMs cause problems with the connection between arteries and veins.
For those unversed, back in 2017, during a promotional event in Dubai, the 'Tiger Zinga Hai' actor had opened up on suffering from trigeminal neuralgia, often called the 'suicide disease'. It is a severe facial nerve condition that causes intense and unbearable pain.
