Spirit Controversy New Update: Ever since the official announcement, Prabhas' upcoming pan-India film titled 'Spirit', directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, has been in the spotlight. Previously, it was reported that Deepika Padukone was set to join the biggie as Prabhas' leading lady. However, the makers officially announced 'Animal' actress Triptii Dimri as the lead actress of 'Spirit'. As per various media reports surfacing online, it was claimed that Deepika had allegedly charged a whopping Rs 20 cr for Spirit and also put up some alleged 'demands' and thus, the makers removed her from the movie.

Days after Deepika Padukone got replaced by Triptii Dimri in Spirit, a report went rife claiming Spirit to be an 'A-rated film.' And now, Spirit director Sandeep Reddy Vanga reacted to the ongoing reports in an explosive tweet, creating a stir online.

Spirit Cast Controversy: Were 'Bold Scenes' The Real Reason Behind Deepika Padukone's Exit From Prabhas Film?

The controversy around Sandeep Reddy Vanga's upcoming film 'Spirit' has been trending all over the internet lately. Earlier, reports claimed that Deepika Padukone had allegedly charged Rs 20 cr for Spirit and demanded things like eight-hour workdays and a share in the film's profits, which didn't sit well with the director apparently.

Yesterday, a Pinkvilla report stated that Spirit is an "A-rated" action film which will have some "bold scenes" too. "While the story-telling of Spirit is that of a quintessential Telugu entertainer, that has all the hero moments, the filmmaker is bringing a twist to the genre by spinning in an 'A-Rated Action' twist. Apart from the big scale violent action scenes, Spirit will have some bold sequences too," the portal reported.

The report further added, "Sandeep Reddy Vanga wanted to cast an actress, who would be comfortable with the sequences written on paper. He has promised a comfortable and professional atmosphere on the sets amidst the shoot to Tripti."

The report further claimed that the said bold scenes were in the script when it was narrated to Deepika Padukone. Apparently, Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Deepika Padukone amicably decided to cut down on the bold sequences that were "pushing things too far".

Did Sandeep Reddy Vanga Take Dig At Deepika Padukone For Playing 'Dirty PR Games'?

Hours after the viral claims, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga took an indirect dig at 'actor' for playing "dirty PR games" in an explosive Twitter post, creating a buzz. Last night (Monday), Sandeep Reddy Vanga took to Twitter (now X) and blasted at reports around Spirit. The director wrote, "When I narrate a story to an actor, I place 100% faith. There is an unsaid NDA(Non Disclosure Agreement) between us. But by doing this, You've 'DISCLOSED' the person that you are....
Putting down a Younger actor and ousting my story? Is this what your feminism stands for ? As a filmmaker, I put years of hard work behind my craft & for me, filmmaking is everything. You didn't get it. You won't get it. You will never get it.
Aisa karo.... Agli baar poori kahani bolna... kyunki mujhe jarra bhi farak nahi padtha.
