In one of the pictures, which has already gone viral on the internet, Karisma and her kids were seen paying emotional tribute to late Sunjay Kapur with folded hands while his 3rd wife Priya Sachdev was sitting on a chair in front of them. Both Karisma and Priya, caught in the same frame, looked visibly heartbroken.

Back in 2003, in an interview with Reddif, Karisma's father and veteran actor Randhir Kapoor had revealed that his daughter's marriage to Sunjay was an arranged one and the alliance was fixed but their common friends. However, the couple had met each other before tying the knot.

Ahead of the wedding, Randhir Kapor had told the portal, "We will be able to give you the date in a couple of days. The wedding is an arranged one. Both Karisma and Sunjay have known each other, but the alliance has been fixed with the help of common friends."

According to NDTV, Randhir Kapoor had blasted his ex-son-in-law for the accusations and said, 'Sunjay is a third-class man... Everyone knows our ­credentials. We are Kapoors. We don't need to run after anyone's money. We have been blessed with not only money, but also our talent... (It) can support us for the rest of our lives."

"I never wanted Karisma marrying him. He never cared for his wife. He has been giving bull**** to her and living with another woman. The entire Delhi knows how he is. I would not like to say anything more than this," he had added.
