Karisma Kapoor's ex-husband passed away, in a shocking turn of events, on June 12, 2025, in London. As per reports, 53-year-old Sunjay accidentally swallowed a bee while playing Polo at the Guards Polo Club in London, which led to a cardiac arrest. It was the bee sting in his throat that supposedly caused the heart attack.

After the funeral on June 19 in New Delhi, a prayer meet was held today (Sunday, June 22) at the Taj Palace Hotel in Delhi. Earlier today, Karisma Kapoor and her kids, along with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan, were spotted at the private airport as they were jetting off to Delhi for Sunjay Kapur's prayer meet.

In a rare turn of events, Karisma Kapoor, ex-wife of Sunjay Kapur, has been clicked in the same frame as the late businessman's third wife, with whom he was married till the very end, Priya Sachdev. Even though Karisma was present during the entire funeral, she wasn't clicked with Priya. Until now, the two have always avoided bumping into each other.

For those unversed, Sunjay Kapur and Karimsa Kapoor had tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in 2003. Their marriage was a toxic one, and the two got separated in 2014. Their divorce was finalized in 2016. Then in 2017, Sunjay Kapur exchanged wedding vows with model-turned-actress Priya Sachdev. Sunjay-Priya were blessed with a son, Azarius, in 2018.
