Cocktail 2 Cast Fees: Kriti Sanon, Rashmika Mandanna's Combined Fee Falls Short Of Shahid Kapoor's Pay Cheque
Cocktail 2 Cast Fees: After the underperformance of Kangana Ranaut's Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata and Imtiaz Ali-directed Main Vaapas Aaunga, Bollywood is set to witness the release of a much-awaited film this week - Cocktail 2. A spiritual sequel to the 2012 hit Cocktail, the second installment features Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles.

A major reason behind the excitement is the reunion of Shahid and Kriti after Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, while Rashmika is working with both of them for the first time in Cocktail 2. As the release date approaches, the buzz is growing by the hour, with moviegoers looking forward to its silver-screen debut.
COCKTAIL 2 OVERVIEW: RELEASE DATE, PLOT, AND OTHER DETAILS
Cocktail 2 is already drawing attention for more than its star cast. The romantic drama has reportedly received an adult certification from the Central Board of Film Certification, making its release a more closely watched one among Bollywood trade circles and fans of relationship dramas.
The film is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on June 19, 2026. Advance booking for the film reportedly opened in the early hours of June 14, giving audiences a five-day window to reserve seats before its theatrical release. The approved runtime is said to be 150 minutes, which means the film will run for 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Cocktail 2 is not being positioned as a simple love triangle. The film appears to follow Kunal, Diya and Ally, three people whose personal equations become increasingly complicated as affection, insecurity and emotional confusion begin to overlap. What initially looks like an easy, modern friendship soon moves into a space filled with jealousy, unspoken feelings and difficult choices.
The trailer suggests that Cocktail 2 will use romance and comedy to enter a more serious emotional zone. The story seems to explore how friendships change when attraction enters the picture, and how people react when they are forced to confront feelings they had avoided. This is familiar territory for Hindi romantic dramas, but the film appears to be leaning into a younger, urban relationship setting.
Much like Cocktail, which became known for mixing friendship, heartbreak, music and glossy romance, the sequel appears to be aiming for a similar emotional space. However, the A certificate indicates that the film may be dealing with its relationship themes in a more mature manner than a standard family-friendly romantic comedy.
COCKTAIL 2 CAST SALARY REVEALED
The film is being mounted on an estimated budget of Rs 150 crore, making it a significant bet in the urban romance space. According to reports, the three principal actors have together charged Rs 35 crore for the film. Shahid Kapoor accounts for the biggest share of the remuneration bill with Rs 21 crore. Kriti Sanon has reportedly charged Rs 8 crore, while Rashmika Mandanna's fee is pegged at Rs 6 crore.
The film's budget also includes a planned print and advertising spend of around Rs 20 crore. That leaves roughly Rs 95 crore for production, crew, locations, music, post-production and other making costs.
