Earlier, in an interview, Akshay Kumar spoke about the future of Hera Pheri 3 and revealed that the movie has been stalled and is not happening for now. Amid the uncertainty, a Bollywood Hungama report recently claimed that Pareh Rawal has allegedly quit Hera Pheri 3 and even returned his signing amount ith 15% interest.

A source informed the portal, "His total fees were locked at Rs. 15 crores. The term sheet mentioned that Paresh Rawal would receive the balance amount - Rs. 14.89 crores - only one month after the release of the film. The senior actor had reservations about this clause. Also, the film's principal shoot is to commence sometime next year. This means that Hera Pheri 3 was unlikely to be released before late 2026 or in 2027. In short, Paresh would have had to wait for nearly two years to get the rest of his acting fees."

According to journalist Vickey Lalwani, Paresh Rawal is still very much a part of Hera Pheri and the reports of him returning his signing amount with 15% interest are not true.

When the journalist asked Paresh Rawal about the ongoing claims, the actor replied, "I am very much in Hera Pheri 3. The reports doing the rounds are baseless."
