In the newly circulated pictures, Shikhar Dhawan is seen in a white embroidered sherwani, which he teamed up with a pair of matching ethnic trousers, shawl, and pagri. The former cricketer completed his look with a statement green layered necklace.

The bride, Sophie Shine opted for a white legenga with intricate floral embroidery in the shades of red and peach. She teamed the up the legenga with a matching full sleeved choli, white net dupatta, and statement diamond and emerald jewellery.

As per the reports, Sophie Shine met Shikhar Dhawan during the Champions Trophy 2025 in Dubai, while the former cricketer was going through a tough time after his divorce with his first wife Aesha Mukherjee. Sophia, who works as a corporate professional in Ireland, is currently also heading the Shikhar Dhawan Foundation.

After dating quietly for a few months, Shikhar Dhawan confirmed his relationship with Sophie Shine in May 2025. Later in January 2026, the couple officially announced their engagement on Instagram. Recently, the former cricketer had also mentioned that their wedding outfits will be designed by the popular designer, Manish Malhotra.

The famous cricketer married Ayesha Mukherjee, a kickboxer whom he met on Facebook, in 2011. It was the second marriage of Ayesha, who is 10 years elder to Shikhar Dhawan. Later in 2014, the couple welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Zorawar. But, later in 2020, it was confirmed that the couple have parted ways due to irreconcilable differences. The got legally divorced in 2023.
