Soumitrisha Kundu, who became a household name after the popular Zee Bangla serial 'Mithai', is all set to foray into the OTT streaming space with the upcoming Hoichoi series 'Kaalratri'. Penned and directed by Ayan Chakraborty, 'Kaalratri' revolves around the story of a newly-wedded bride 'Debi' whose husband gets murdered on their first night at their mansion.

Featuring Soumitrisha as 'Debi', the upcoming Hoichoi series Kaalratri boasts a star-studded ensemble including Indrashish Roy as 'Rudra' (Debi's husband), Rupanjana Mitra as Debi's mother-in-law, Debesh Chattopadhyay as Debi's father-in-law, Rajdeep Gupta as her brother-in-law 'Ajitesh' and Sairity Banerjee as Ajitesh's wife 'Rai' alongside Anujoy Chattopadhyay, Sampurna Mondal, and Sounak Roy among others.

The Hoichoi official synopsis of the show reads, "On her wedding day, Devi fears her friend's chilling prediction of her husband's imminent death.
