Madgaon Express OTT Release: Following the success of mid-sized films like Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya and Article 370, Kunal Kemmu made his directorial debut with Madgaon Express, which hit theaters in March this year amidst decent anticipation. The film's trailer had garnered a positive response from audiences, heightening expectations.

Produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under Excel Entertainment, Madgaon Express stars Divyendu, Pratik Gandhi, Avinash Tiwary, and Nora Fatehi in pivotal roles. The comedy flick premiered on the silver screens on March 22, 2024, and clashed with Randeep Hooda's Swatantrya Veer Savarkar.

As predicted, Madgaon Express received mixed reviews from critics but found favor among audiences, offering a much-awaited genuine comedy experience for Bollywood enthusiasts. While it turned out to be an average grosser at the box office, a section of fans are eagerly awaiting its digital release.

MADGAON EXPRESS OTT RELEASE DATE & PLATFORM: WHEN & WHERE TO WATCH ONLINE?

The streaming rights for Madgaon Express have been reportedly acquired by Amazon Prime Video, making the OTT platform the exclusive home for the film. While it was expected to premiere on Prime Video in May end or June starting, the movie has premiered on the platform today (May 3) but there's a twist.

Madgaon Express is currently available on Prime Video in Hindi audio with English subtitles and viewers have to pay a rent of Rs 349 to watch it for now. Soon, the Prime Video subscribers will get to watch the film for free.

MADGAON EXPRESS STORYLINE AND OTHER IMPORTANT DETAILS

The comedy film follows the escapades of three childhood friends played by Pratik Gandhi, Divyenndu, and Avinash Tiwary as they set out on a journey to Goa, encountering unexpected twists and turns along the way.

On its 38th day, Kunal Kemmu's film experienced a surge, raking in approximately Rs 67 lakh at the box office. Entering its sixth weekend, the film commenced with earnings ranging between Rs 22 to 25 lakh. However, it witnessed a substantial jump of over 150% on the sixth Saturday, collecting Rs 50 lakh. This momentum continued with a further growth of almost 20% on the subsequent Sunday, garnering Rs66 lakhs at the box office.

Despite the influx of major new releases, the film continues to captivate audiences, inching closer to the Rs 25 crore mark at the box office after 38 days.
