Directed by Hansal Mehta, the film is not only just headlined by Bebo but is also co-produced by the actress along with Ektaa R Kapoor's Balaji Motion Pictures. For those unversed, 'The Buckingham Murders' marks Kareena's debut as a producer.

Featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan as 'Jass Bhamra', the crime-drama thriller 'The Buckingham Murders' marks Bebo's first collaboration with director Hansal Mehta. The film also features celeb chef-actor Ranveer Brar as Daljeet Kohli along with Sanjeev Mehra, Zain Hussain, and Rukku Nahar among others in significant roles.

Amid decent buzz, Kareena's film had its theatrical release on 13th September 2024 and opened to mostly positive reviews from the audience and critics alike. Despite it, the film tanked at the box office and managed to collect around Rs 9.63 cr, one of Bebo's lowest-grossing films, as per reports.

Reportedly, the official synopsis of the film reads, "A grieving cop loses her child to murder and moves to another town where she investigates the disappearance of a missing child."

In less than 2 months after its theatrical debut, The Buckingham Murders is all set to premiere on Netflix this Friday (November 8). The Kareena Kapoor Khan-starrer will be dropped at 12 am (midnight) on the said OTT streaming platform.
