Last night (Sunday, June 22), Diljit Dosanjh took to his Instagram handle and dropped the highly-anticipated trailer of his next Punjabi horror-comedy flick 'Sardaar Ji 3'. The third installment of the beloved Sardaar Ji franchise features Pakistani actress Hania Aamir as one of Dijit's leading ladies.
Presented by White Hill Studios, Sardaar Ji 3 trailer is unavailable on YouTube in India over Hania Aamir's casting in the movie. Indians can watch the trailer online on Diljit Dosanjh's official Instagram handle.
Diljit Dosanjh's Sardaar Ji 3, which marks Pakistani actress Hania Aamir's debut in the Indian film industry, will not have a theatrical release in India. The movie will be released on June 27, 2025, in overseas theatres only.
Earlier, the FWICE (The Federation of Western India Cine Employees) reportedly urged the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification) to hold back the certification of Sardaar Ji over the casting of Hania Aamir and other Pakistani actors, including Nasir Chinyoti, Daniel Khawar, and Saleem Albela.
