Alexis Zegerman Biography

Alexis Zegerman is a British actress and writer.

She grew up in London and trained at the prestigious Central School of Speech and Drama. She most recently played the part of Zoe in Mike Leigh\\\'s Happy-Go-Lucky. This was her second collaboration with the Oscar nominated film director, having appeared in the original cast of his play ;;Two Thousand Years;; which premiered at the National Theatre in London in 2005.

Zegerman has written plays for BBC Radio 4 including Ronnie Gecko, Are You Sure?, The Singing Butler, Jump, and the comedy series School Runs. Her stage play Lucky Seven had its premiere at the Hampstead Theatre in London in November 2008.
