F1 Story

F1 is an exhilarating sports drama directed by Joseph Kosinski, with Brad Pitt leading the cast. Created in collaboration with Formula 1 and the F1 community, the film integrates real-world racing elements, featuring all 10 F1 teams, their drivers, the FIA, and race promoters. Adding authenticity to the project, seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton serves as a co-producer.

The film boasts a star-studded ensemble, including Academy Award nominee Kerry Condon, Academy Award winner Javier Bardem, Emmy Award winner and Golden Globe nominee Tobias Menzies, Emmy nominee Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia, and Samson Kayo.

Movie Plot
The story follows a veteran driver who comes out of retirement to mentor a young and talented rookie. As they join a struggling F1 team, the film explores their journey through intense races, fierce rivalries, and the pressure to prove themselves on the global stage. Blending adrenaline-pumping track sequences with emotional storytelling, the movie focuses on themes of redemption, teamwork, and second chances. It also gives a behind-the-scenes look at the fast-paced and competitive world of Formula One, capturing both the thrill of racing and the personal challenges faced by drivers.

F1 was released in Indian theaters on June 25, 2025.

Awards & Achievements
F1 won the Oscar for Best Sound at the 98th Academy Awards. Along with this win, the movie was also nominated for Best Picture, Best Visual Effects, and Best Original Song for “Drive” by Ed Sheeran.
