Greenland 2: Migration is an American post-apocalyptic survival disaster thriller directed by Ric Roman Waugh, continuing the high-stakes world established in Greenland (2020). The film once again stars Gerard Butler alongside Morena Baccarin, reprising their roles as a family fighting to survive in a world reshaped by global catastrophe.

Written by Chris Sparling and Mitchell LaFortune, the sequel shifts its focus from immediate destruction to long-term survival. Set in the aftermath of the comet impact, Migration follows humanity’s struggle to relocate, rebuild, and coexist in a drastically altered environment. The story explores themes of displacement, resilience, and the emotional cost of survival as survivors are forced to leave the safety of bunkers in search of a new habitable future.
