Minari is an American drama film written and directed by Lee Isaac Chung. It's semi auto-biographical story of director Chung and his upbringing. The flick follows the story of a South Korean family who tries to make it in the rural United States during the 1980s. It received six nominations in the 93rd Academy Awards.
