Rio 2

Rio 2 is a 2014 American 3D computer-animated musical adventure-comedy film produced by Blue Sky Studios and directed by Carlos Saldanha. It is the sequel to the 2011 computer-animated film  Rio  and the studio's first film to have a sequel outside of their existing Ice Age franchise.  RIO 2's Imran Khan, Sonakshi Sinha get it on in the Amazon!! Releasing on 11th April, Fox Star Studios Rio 2 brings back the lovable, eccentric characters from the original film (Blue, Jewel, Tulio, Linda and Nigel) in an even wilder, more colorful adventure with new music and dance sequences, new non-bird characters which add depth to the story and imagery and our very own B-town stars  Imran Khan  and  Sonakshi Sinha . The duo has lent their voices as main leads and macaws Blu and Jewel respectively to the Hindi dubbed version and showed special 20 minutes of 3D clips and the interesting Hindi trailer yesterday at a suburban multiplex!!! For the very first time two B-town icons have lent their voices for a Hollywood animation film and joining them in the fun filled event were 2 memorable characters from the Amazon: Nico and Pedro from the RIO franchise who surprised them at the end! Sparking off the fun interactive event was Mr Sunder Kimatrai, Executive Vice President Asia Pacific, 20th Century Fox who provided an exciting glimpse into the movie and warmly invited the duo on stage to talk more about RIO 2. Imran Khan and Sonakshi were seen enjoying their dubbed scenes on the big screen and shared hilarious banter on stage while talking about their experiences! Catch RIO 2 releasing on 11th April in 3D in English Hindi, Tamil and Telugu! Story Blu, Jewel and their three kids leave their domesticated life in the city of Rio de Janeiro for a journey to the Amazon rainforest, where their owners Linda and Tulio were doing an expedition that seemingly found a hidden tribe of Spix's Macaws.  On their way there, they are witnessed in Manaus by Blu and Jewel's old nemesis Nigel the cockatoo, who then decides to seek revenge on the macaws, enlisting poison dart frog Gabi and anteater Charlie as his minions. Upon arriving the Amazon, the family comes across Jewel's long-lost father, Eduardo, who is in hiding with his macaw tribe. As Blu has trouble fitting in, Nigel infiltrates the tribe, and illegal loggers kidnap Linda and Tulio on their way to reach the macaws' hideout.
