Take Shelter movie story revolves around Curtis LaForche. Curtis LaForche leads a modest small town Ohio life with wife Samantha and 6-year-old daughter Hannah.

Curtis LaForche daughter Hannah lost her hearing but is scheduled for corrective surgery. He was working as crew manager for a drilling company that provides for his family’s needs.

 When Curtis LaForche begun suffering from increasingly vivid and disturbing nightmares,they may be indicative of the onset of mental illness, which runs in Curtis’s family. So Curtis begins taking drastic measures in an attempt to ensure the future security of his wife and daughter.
