The Invite Story

The Invite is a comedy drama film directed by Olivia Wilde. Plot 

The story revolves around a constantly bickering couple, Joe and Angela, who invite their free-spirited upstairs neighbors, Hawk and Piña, for dinner after being frustrated by their noisy lifestyle. What starts as an awkward confrontation soon turns into an unexpected and revealing evening when the guests openly discuss their unconventional relationship and make a bold proposal. As the night unfolds, the situation spirals into a chaotic yet humorous exchange that forces Joe and Angela to confront the cracks in their own marriage, exposing issues of intimacy, resentment, and emotional disconnect.
