Inside Out 2 has introduced four new emotions - Anxiety, Ennui (French word that refers to existential boredom or dissatisfaction with life), Embarrassment and Envy. It also featured the five OG emotions from its previous season - Joy, Fear, Sadness, Anger, and Disgust. The sequel stars Edebiri as Envy, Tony Hale as Fear, Adele as Ennui, Liza as Disgust, Amy as Joy, Lewis ad Anger, and Paul Walter as Embarrassment.

As per the IMDb page, the official synopsis of the film reads, "A sequel that features Riley entering puberty and experiencing brand new, more complex emotions as a result. As Riley tries to adapt to her teenage years, her old emotions try to adapt to the possibility of being replaced."
