Moana 2 Box Office Collection Day 3 In India: Disney's latest animated sequel 'Moana 2' is having a surprising run at the box office in India. Moana-Maui's new adventures successfully pulled audiences to theatres on opening weekend. Jointly helmed by Dana Ledoux Miller, Jason Hand, David Derrick Jr, Moana 2 - a sequel to the popular 2016 animated film - hit cinemas globally on 29th November 2024.

Moana 2 Box Office Collection Day 3 In India

The Disney animated musical-adventure drama, Moana 2, - which follows Moana's journey to the far seas of Oceania - already crossed the Rs 10 crore-mark at the box office in India. As per reports, the Disney sequel had a decent opening in India and managed to collect Rs 2.6 cr on the day of its release. Due to the Cinema Lovers Day offer (tickets priced at Rs 99), Moana 2 witnessed a solid jump by 73.08% on day 2, raking in around Rs 4.5 cr on Saturday.

According to the latest Sacnilk report, the film maintained strong hold at ticket counters on Sunday as well. As the report suggests, the Hollywood animated film scored approx. Rs 5.25 cr yesterday, taking the total net collection to Rs 12.35 cr in India on opening weekend.

Reportedly, Moana 2 had an overall 33.47% English occupancy and 15.67% Hindi occupancy on Sunday (December 1, 2024).

Day 1 (Friday) : ₹ 2.6 cr

Day 2 (Saturday) : ₹ 4.5 cr

Day 3 (Sunday) : ₹ 5.25 cr

Total - Rs 12.35 CRORES!

Moana 2 Vs Inside Out 2 Opening Weekend Collection India

Moana 2 has already surpassed yet another Disney film 'Inside Out 2' opening weekend collection in India. Released on 14th June 2024, Inside Out 2 grossed around 6.85 cr in its 1st weekend in India.

As per reports, Inside Out 2 opened to a collection of Rs 1.4 cr and went to mint around Rs 2.35 cr on day 2 and Rs 3.1 cr on day 3.
