One Direction Liam Payne Death Reason: In a shocking turn of events, former One Direction singer, Liam Payne, passed away. The globally renowned singer breathed his last in Argentina, and the news was announced on October 16, Wednesday. According to the several reports, the 31-year-old singer was found dead in the courtyard of the hotel where he has been staying at the Palermo district in Buenos Aires.

How Did Liam Payne Die?

According Argentine newspaper, Clarin & La Nacion, police was called after "an aggressive man possibly under the influence of drugs and alcohol" found in the interior of the hotel premises. Later, initial investigation revealed that Liam fell off from the third floor of the CasaSur Palermo hotel balcony which caused his tragic demise.

After the tragic news became global, Charlie Puth put on his Instagram story, "I am in shock right now. Liam was always so kind to me. He was one of the first major artists I got to work with. I can not believe he is gone..." He also shared a video of themselves laughing at each other. In another video, he shared Liam's interview where he could be heard talking about Charlie and how he is a good friend of his. In another post, he dropped a picture of him with Liam and shared without a note.

Payne's 'Get Low' collaborator Zedd took to X and mourned the singer, he wrote, "RIP Liam... I can't believe this is real... absolutely heartbreaking ..."
