Actor Suraj Kumar Suffers Leg Amputation In Accident: According to reports, Suraj Kumar, who is known as Dhruwan in the film industry and is a relative of Kannada matinee idol Dr. Rajkumar, has suffered severe injuries in a tragic road accident.

The accident occurred on Saturday on the Mysuru-Gundlupet highway near Begur in Gundlupet taluk. Reportedly, Suraj's right leg, severely damaged in the accident, has been amputated by doctors. Suraj, the son of film producer S. A. Srinivas and the nephew of the late film producer Parvathamma Rajkumar, adopted the name Dhruwan when he entered the film industry.

Reportedly, The accident took place around 4 p.m. when Suraj was riding his bike on the highway near Hirikati Gate in Gundlupet taluk. He collided with an oncoming tipper truck after losing control while overtaking a tractor.

As a result, Suraj suffered grave injuries to his right leg. Immediate medical attention was provided, and he was swiftly transported to Manipal Hospital in Mysuru. The doctors there performed a life-saving below-knee amputation surgery on his right leg.

Shiva Rajkumar, a prominent Kannada star and the son of Dr. Rajkumar, along with his wife Geetha, paid a visit to Suraj at the hospital.

Suraj Kumar's Career

Suraj, a passionate biker, frequently shared pictures of his love for motorcycles on his social media pages. Suraj Kumar, who had gained experience as an assistant director in movies such as Airavata and Tarak, had been set to make his acting debut in the film Bhagawan Shri Krishna Paramathma, directed by Anup Anthony.

The film was launched by Kannada star Darshan, but unfortunately got shelved for undisclosed reasons. Suraj was concurrently involved in another project called Ratham. Additionally, he had signed on for an untitled film with Priya Prakash Varrier, although the current status of that project remains uncertain.
