However, in a recent interview on the talk show 'Pearle Maaney Show' to promote her film 'Live', Priya made some statements that caught Omar's attention. During the interview, host Pearle Maaney showed a photo of the viral scene from 'Oru Adaar Love' and asked Priya if she remembered it.
Priya mentioned that it has been five years since the film and stated that she performed the wink on her own without any direction from the director. Pearle playfully commented, looking at the camera, that sometimes one needs to take matters into their own hands to go viral.
Omar Lulu Mocks Priya Varrier
Following the viral video of the interview, Omar Lulu entered the picture. He shared the first video of Priya's conversation from Pearle's interview and then posted a second clip from a TV show that is five years old. In the older clip, Priya states that the wink was done according to Omar Lulu's instructions, with Omar himself present on the TV show.
Omar captioned the post, "Five years gone, poor girl; she must have forgotten everything. Valiya Chandanaadi is best for forgetfulness." He also shared an image of a bottle of 'Valiya Chandanaadi" oil in another post, dedicating it to those who were part of his film but later lost their memories. Reports suggest that there were some issues between Priya and Omar during and after the filming of 'Oru Adaar Love'.
Meanwhile, Priya Prakash Varrier has been actively working in Malayalam cinema. She recently starred in the film 'Live' alongside her ongoing project 'Kolla'. On the other hand, Omar Lulu, after the release of his recent film 'Nalla Samayam', is currently working on the film 'Bad Boys'. Additionally, he made an appearance on Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 5.
