Barfi Story

Barfi is romantic comedy. Directed by Shekar.  Diganth and Bhama in the lead roles. Arjun Janya is the music director of Barfi.

Story in Detail:

It is a romantic love story between a Punjabi girl and a Mangalore based boy. The film has the distinction of being the first Kannada film to be shot in the Wagah Border and Amritsar's Golden Temple.

While Diganth plays Mangalore boy, Bhama is seen in the role of Punjabi Kudi in the film. Suchendra Prasad, Pavithra Lokesh, Harish Raj, Dilip Raj, Samyukta Belawadi and others play prominent roles in the film.

It is about Life of a boy, a boy of this generation, and his struggle to find his love. About his family, about his friends, and his love and her family. The movie has narrated in humourous way of the most common problem of any marriageable age of Indian boy, who has everything but a girl. He is very successful in his carreer, but in finding a girl ...a total repeated failure. He has not fall in love yet, nor successful in finding a match through traditional way. But he DOES finds his love in a new way …. How? that is the movie about. Even though the narration is humorous, but it is a very sensitive Love story.

Where all the generation can connect with characters and situation...and laugh out their heart out at the same it touches the heart in touchy situation.
