Gajakesari Story

Gajakesari is a romantic action entertainer movie starring Rocking star Yash and Amoolya in the lead role. Special atrraction of the movie is an elephant, which will be playing an important role.

Story

It deals with the story of Baddi Krishna (Yash), who will be a cool dude in the town. Ananth Nag, who will be the Matadhipathi (chief of temple) will decide to make Baddi Krishna as his successor. Though Krishna will not be interested in the traditional and religious practices, situation will leads him towards that post.

Will Krishna become the matadhipathi? Why will Ananth Nag decides to make cool dude Baddi Krishna as his successor? What is background of Krishna? Forms the crux of the story, which should be enjoyed on silver screen.

Development

The crew was in search of an elephant from last one year. Earlier, it was reported that they wanted an elephant, which is slightly bigger. Apparently, they had found one and had booked it in the Thailand forest, but for some unknown reasons the plan was failed and the crew decided to find a domestic elephant in India.

The makers have found an elephant in Waynad forest, Kerala, which is one of the biggest domesticated elephant in the country. It is reported that the place has high concentration of domesticated elephants in India, where Arjuna was found. Till now Amoolya has been playing the role of school or college student in her films, but this time, she will be playing the role of her age itself and the role will be glamorous.

Apart from Yash and Amoolya, Gajakesari also features Sadhu Kokila, Shabaz Khan, Hyderabad Prabhakar, Chennai Johnny Vijay and Tamil actor Pashupathy, who will be playing the main villain of the film. Sampathram, who acted as Sethukuli Govindan in ‘Veerappan Attahasa’, has been selected as his aide. The movie is directorial venture of cinematographer Krishna.
