Hatrick Hodi Maga

After success of movie Jogi, Hattrick hero Shivaraj Kumar seems to be trying his luck with another sentimental-cum-action movie. His much hyped movie Hodi Maga changed to Hattrick Hodi Maga is all about mother love and gang war. The movie deals with the same stale story of Jogi with different sequences. After watching Hattrick Hodi Maga, if you feel that it is a ridicule to the love sentiment of mother-son in Jogi, definitely the credit goes to the director.

PN Sathya, who has written screenplay, dialogues and directed the movie, has done many gangster films like “Daasa”, “Don”, “Majestick” and “Gooli” earlier. If you are expecting PN Sathya to be different in Hattrick Hodi Maga, I am sorry to say you that he has followed same track in this movie also. He has done nothing but contributed one more movie to the list of the movies that glorify violence and rowdyism.

Although Hattrick Hodi Maga seems to be an original movie, it lacks newness in story. it depicts the same old gang war, fights and bloodsheds and a youngster being victimized by it. The slow narration and too many sentimental sequences mar the film.
